Privacy Policy
Your privacy, protected.
1. Introduction
Global Psychoeducational Solutions (“GPS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of the families, schools, and organizations we serve. This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information in connection with our professional services, including comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, independent educational evaluations (IEEs), district backlog support, and admissions reviews for independent schools.
Our practices are designed to comply with applicable laws, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and relevant state privacy and professional requirements in Illinois and Florida.
2. Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies to information collected via our public website (globalpsychsolutions.com), email and phone communications, in-person services, and our secure client and telepractice platforms. Additional agreements, consent forms, and notices may supplement this Policy when clients engage our services.
3. Our Role with Schools and Families
When GPS is engaged directly by a family, we act as the primary provider responsible for safeguarding information under applicable laws. When GPS is engaged by or on behalf of a school or district (including IEEs and backlog support), portions of the evaluation materials may be treated as part of the student’s education record under FERPA, and the school or district may be the custodian of that record. We coordinate data handling with the engaging party in accordance with law and contract.
Professional Services Notice: GPS provides psychoeducational evaluations and related consultative services. We do not provide psychotherapy or ongoing medical treatment through these services.

When GPS is engaged by a school or district, the evaluation report and related findings may become part of the student’s official education record under FERPA. In such cases, the school or district is the custodian of that record. GPS retains ownership of all test materials, protocols, and intellectual property used in conducting the evaluation. Confidentiality is maintained in accordance with law, contract, and professional standards, and information is not used beyond the scope of the requested services.
